Call for submissions!

Hey y’all! Thank you so much for all the follows, likes, and reblogs so far. Blaze and I have a blast running this blog and we’re glad you guys like it too!

But all but one post on this blog comes from us mod types. Let’s have some reader submissions!

Please submit a picture of your tea to us! The submission button is at the top of our page, labelled “Send us your tea.” Further instructions are on that page, but it’s sooo easy to do. So please send in what you’re drinking! We’d love to show everyone!

Thanks,
Cho

Stopped by Daiso since I’m back in my beloved Berkeley. I got pens, a fricking adorable bow, and Tea’s Tea Rose Green, which is my favorite Tea’s Tea by far. Delicious!

Behold! I’m moving into my new house and we have two whole shelves of tea, now meticulously arranged in sections.

First shelf, left to right:
British tea (Earl Grey, Lady Grey, something called Yorkshire Gold, English Breakfast, Irish Breakfast— these are organized top to bottom in order of social standing in the UK)
Specialty teas (“Christmas” Tea and Mango Black, Thai iced tea blend)
Chai tea (two brands)

Second shelf, left to right:
Genuine green tea (from Yamamotoyama and Ujinotsuyuseicha, according to the labels)
Fake green tea (3 American brands, all named the product “Green Tea”)
Teas to drink while tired (Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Vanilla, and Trader Joe’s camomile)
Tea to drink while sick (Lemon Ginger and something my roommate owns that’s full of Vitamin C)
Herbal tea (mostly some Good Earth another roommate’s mother sent him)
Hot chocolate

Any time is tea time, including moving time! English Breakfast, guide me through another day of unpacking and furniture assembly. Thy caffeinated will be done. Amen.

PS This particular English Breakfast is from Rituals, which is a weird name for most companies, but a company that manufactures the magical stuff folks need to get up every morning can get away with it just fine.

Iced tea from Booster’s Cafe! It gave me the strength to finish a 20 page history paper.

Apologies for the recent lack of interesting updates. I think I’ve posted every tea in my house here at school. Well, next week I’m heading back to the Bay, and you guys’ll get to see some new stuff!

Uji no tsuyu genmai-cha tea that my friend bought from an Asian market. Yum! You can sort of see see we’re packed in tight in his tiny dorm room. Whoo, college!

Iced tea at Kayak’s, a wonderful cafe in St. Louis. I accidentally took a smoothie straw! I like it- gets the tea to my face as fast as possible.

Green tea at my favorite St. Louis restaurant, Ginger Bistro. We’re celebrating the 21st birthday of my wonderful friend and roommate, as well as mine, which was yesterday!
